This website is operated by COLWYN Books. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to COLWYN Books. By visiting our site, purchasing from us or using any part of the website, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers and other users of the site. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy also form part of these Terms.

1. ONLINE STORE USE

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. You may not use our products or website for unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised purposes, or interfere with the security or operation of the site.

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to present product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information accurately. Colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen, and minor differences may occur between images and the physical product. We may correct errors, update information or discontinue products without notice.

3. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, information is incorrect, payment cannot be authorised, fraud is suspected or shipping restrictions apply. If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item.

Please provide complete and accurate billing, delivery and contact information. You are responsible for checking your order details before submitting your order.

4. PRICES, DISCOUNTS AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Taxes, shipping charges and any applicable duties will be shown or described before checkout where required. Promotional offers and bundle discounts may have separate conditions, may not be combined unless stated, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Payment is processed through the payment methods displayed at checkout.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery estimates refer to the period from dispatch from the warehouse until delivery to the customer. Cross-border shipping can be affected by customs, carriers, weather, local delivery conditions and other factors outside our reasonable control. Estimated delivery dates are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed. Please use the actual logistics tracking information for the latest delivery status.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refusal of delivery or failure to collect a parcel may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.

6. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect or with another quality problem, contact support@colwyn.shop within three days of receiving it. Include your order number and clear photographs or other reasonable evidence of the issue. Once verified, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a free replacement or refund.

7. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

Because our products are fulfilled using cross-border transportation, we do not accept returns or provide refunds where a customer simply dislikes an item, changes their mind or no longer needs it. This does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law. Please read our Return and Refund Policy before ordering.

8. ORDER TRACKING AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Tracking information may be provided after dispatch and can be viewed through our Track Your Order page. Carrier scans and delivery estimates are supplied by third parties and may not update immediately. For assistance, contact support@colwyn.shop.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its content—including our branding, text, graphics, layout and original materials—are owned by or licensed to COLWYN Books and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or exploit our content without prior written permission.

Product titles, book content, author materials and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners or licensors.

10. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT

If you submit a review, comment, photograph or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and does not violate another person’s rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the store. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our store may use or link to services provided by Shopify, payment processors, delivery carriers, tracking providers, review platforms and other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control.

You must not misuse the site; upload malicious code; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or copy the site at scale; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; submit false information; impersonate another person; or use the site for unlawful, harmful or deceptive activity.

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but do not guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Except for guarantees, warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded, the site and services are provided on an “as available” basis.

A delay or failure by us to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
